Daddy's New Car (AGAIN!)

So Addam found his dream car, yes I said dream car. We've owned 3 Trans AM's in the past 4 years and he had to have this one. And just so everyone is my witness, he said he will NEVER get rid of this car. He ended up with a 79 Trans AM special edition that is the Smokey and the Bandit car. Anyone want to buy a 2001 Trans AM?? Addam is very happy with his new car and he loves to drive it!

Guitar with Daddy

Tyler always ask's Addam, "Tar Daddy". Which means, "Guitar Daddy!". He loves to watch Addam play guitar and help Daddy play. Tyler loves all musical instruments, so we are sure we'll have a band at our house someday!

Reading with Mommy

Tyler loves to read. He loves to just sit and look at books in his room and it's always amazing to us how into his books he gets. Addam says he's a nerd like me. But we love it! We always read before he goes to sleep and Addam caught some great snuggly pictures of me and Tyler reading before nap time one day. Love my men!

Baby Shower Cake

I made a cake for one of the girls at work who is expecting her first baby, a littl boy! I love being able to make a special cake for someone. She absolutely loved it and it made my day that she did! Congrats to Jenn!

So as Addam would say, "Your having a pregnant woman moment." I decided one day that I no longer like the color of Tyler's bed room and wanted Addam to pain it a new color. The original color was a bright blue that matched his crib bedding and I decided that I couldn't have it that color any more if he was going to his big boy bed. Yes, you read right, BIG BOY BED. Tyler is over 3 ft tall and about 35lbs and does not sleep well in his crib any more and is really too big. So we decided it was time for a big boy bed and he'll be going to a twin mattress. So Addam said he would paint Tyler's room the new color I had picked out while he was at work because he wanted me to be happy. :) He's the bestest hubby!! So Tyler and I left for the day to hang out with Grammy at the Sacramento Zoo to let Daddy get to work. He is the master painter so he had to get everything the way he needed it. Tyler, Grammy and I had a blast at the zoo. We rode the train and waved to Grammy. He loved seeing the Monkey's and made a monkey sound for them, I'm sure they were very impressed. Then we had lunch next to the flamingo's. We decided to head out to the park near the zoo that has a huge pond and tons of ducks that I'm sure eat more than their share of bread each day. But we brought TONS of bread to feed them anyways. Tyler enjoyed it though he thought about trying to take a swim with them once or twice so I had to hold onto his shirt. Then we made the drive home and to our surprise Daddy had finished the room and the big boy bed was all ready for Tyler. Tyler loved it! He saw the sheets that Grammy had bought him, Cars theme of course, and he said, "Car! VROOOMMM!!". The big boy bed has been a challenge for everyone but we've got a routine down now and he's doing great in it! He even comes and wakes us up in the morning with, "Hi!". Sooo cute! Thanks for a great day Grammy and thank you so very much to my loving hubby and #1 Daddy!

16 weeks and counting!

So here is a picture of me at 16 weeks. I feel HUGE! But people keep saying I'm not that big, I think they are being nice. We'll find out soon what we are having!! We'll keep you posted!

Official Ultrasound Date

Well, our official ultrasound date to find out if we are having a boy or a girl is Friday March 27th at 3p.m. So send in your guesses and we'll keep you updated! Can't wait!

Valentine's Day

Addam and I decided to have a date night the day BEFORE Valentine's Day to avoid all the crowds and stuff. So my Mom came over and had a Grammy and Tyler night and of course Tyler loved it! He yells, "Ammy!" the minute she walks in and is always so good for her and they have a blast having adventures together. Our date night started out at Bistro 33 in El Dorado Hills, the food was soooooo good! Plus we got to eat slow and didn't have to rush and we could actually talk and just hang out as husband and wife. We loved it! Then we decided to make the drive to Citrus Heights and go to Leatherby's, a local ice cream parlor who makes all their own ice creams and toppings. I was craving it! It was the best ice cream sundae ever! :) I say that every time though. Then we headed home and Tyler had already gone to bed for Grammy and we just stayed up and watched a little TV. Happy Valentine's Day Husband!! I love you very much!! xoxox

Running for the ladies!

So I have a play group that I meet up with on Fridays and we let the kid's play and we get some Mommy time, well, in between watching our kids since we all seem to be in the stage of no sharing! :) We decided to meet mid-week and hit up the Train Museum in Old Sacramento. It was great! Tyler had a blast with his girlfriends Clare and Emily. After the fun inside the museum we headed out and had a nice picinic lunch on the grass. The kid's had the most fun and were running after eachother on the grass. What a fun day!

Drive time!

We decided to get out of Folsom for the afternoon and hit the Discovery Museum of Sacramento for the afternoon after nap time. I used to go to this very museum when I was a kid with my family and let me tell you the place is exactly the same! Tyler had fun driving a truck that had headlights that turned on and off, and playing in the kitchen and naming the foods for us. Then we hit the outdoors and just followed the trail that goes around the museum. And to top it off, it's near Grammy and Pa's house! So after the museum we headed over to their house for a nice family dinner and of course a bath in Grammy's sink!
