Tyler & Daddy


Every year when spring time comes we of course are already to go and are in CAR mode! Yes, we are a car family. So the annual spring Good Guys Car Show was going on in Pleasanton and we all went down for a day of fun. My Mom, brother and our little family all made the trek and of course had a blast! Found lots of stuff for the 68 Camaro and found little things along the way. Tyler walked away with a Hot Wheels car and thought it was so awesome. He kept saying, "Daddy's car!" because it looks like Addam's 79 Trans AM. Tyler also had his FIRST ice cream cone. He hasn't been too big on eating ice cream, so when he saw Mommy eating a soft serve ice cream he wanted to try it. And yes, he liked it and Mommy shared the rest with him. He loved it! We had a great day and it was nice to get out in the warm weather!

It's a......

Well, we just got home from our ultrasound and we are having a.... BOY!! There was no mistaking that this little bundle of joy was a boy at all on the ultrasound. We couldn't be more excited to welcome another boy into our family! WOOHHOO! August 18, 2009 is our due date for this little one. We'll keep you posted with more pictures!

Today is our big day!! We find out today if we are having a boy or a girl!! Our appointment will be at 3p.m.! YEAH! Just had to share our excitement!

Tyler loves to play in the backyard lately since the weather has been so nice, well at least not rainy! He loves his sandbox which he calls, "Beebox". And he loves to play ball and run around after the dog. Here are some shots I got of him playing around.

Daddy's New Car (AGAIN!)

So Addam found his dream car, yes I said dream car. We've owned 3 Trans AM's in the past 4 years and he had to have this one. And just so everyone is my witness, he said he will NEVER get rid of this car. He ended up with a 79 Trans AM special edition that is the Smokey and the Bandit car. Anyone want to buy a 2001 Trans AM?? Addam is very happy with his new car and he loves to drive it!

Guitar with Daddy

Tyler always ask's Addam, "Tar Daddy". Which means, "Guitar Daddy!". He loves to watch Addam play guitar and help Daddy play. Tyler loves all musical instruments, so we are sure we'll have a band at our house someday!

Reading with Mommy

Tyler loves to read. He loves to just sit and look at books in his room and it's always amazing to us how into his books he gets. Addam says he's a nerd like me. But we love it! We always read before he goes to sleep and Addam caught some great snuggly pictures of me and Tyler reading before nap time one day. Love my men!

Baby Shower Cake

I made a cake for one of the girls at work who is expecting her first baby, a littl boy! I love being able to make a special cake for someone. She absolutely loved it and it made my day that she did! Congrats to Jenn!

So as Addam would say, "Your having a pregnant woman moment." I decided one day that I no longer like the color of Tyler's bed room and wanted Addam to pain it a new color. The original color was a bright blue that matched his crib bedding and I decided that I couldn't have it that color any more if he was going to his big boy bed. Yes, you read right, BIG BOY BED. Tyler is over 3 ft tall and about 35lbs and does not sleep well in his crib any more and is really too big. So we decided it was time for a big boy bed and he'll be going to a twin mattress. So Addam said he would paint Tyler's room the new color I had picked out while he was at work because he wanted me to be happy. :) He's the bestest hubby!! So Tyler and I left for the day to hang out with Grammy at the Sacramento Zoo to let Daddy get to work. He is the master painter so he had to get everything the way he needed it. Tyler, Grammy and I had a blast at the zoo. We rode the train and waved to Grammy. He loved seeing the Monkey's and made a monkey sound for them, I'm sure they were very impressed. Then we had lunch next to the flamingo's. We decided to head out to the park near the zoo that has a huge pond and tons of ducks that I'm sure eat more than their share of bread each day. But we brought TONS of bread to feed them anyways. Tyler enjoyed it though he thought about trying to take a swim with them once or twice so I had to hold onto his shirt. Then we made the drive home and to our surprise Daddy had finished the room and the big boy bed was all ready for Tyler. Tyler loved it! He saw the sheets that Grammy had bought him, Cars theme of course, and he said, "Car! VROOOMMM!!". The big boy bed has been a challenge for everyone but we've got a routine down now and he's doing great in it! He even comes and wakes us up in the morning with, "Hi!". Sooo cute! Thanks for a great day Grammy and thank you so very much to my loving hubby and #1 Daddy!
