And Baby makes 4!

Baby #2 due August 18, 2009

Yep, if the heading didn't give it away, then.... We are expecting another BABY!! I found out I was pregnant the day before my birthday (12/11), and kept it a secret from family until we had Christmas with each side of the family. We thought that it would be a special way to tell everyone that another little baby will be joining our household soon! I'm due August 18, 2009. I get to tough out the wonderful HOT summer's of Folsom pregnant! But other than that we couldn't be happier to welcome another addition to our family!

Merry Christmas!

Tyler Christmas Morning!
Bubbles!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Addam came home this morning from work and we had such a wonderful morning as a family. We opened presents and played and just enjoyed eachother. It's amazing to watch Tyler this year with gifts. He opens one and we do the rest! He received many gifts from family and friends and we couldn't be more grateful! We headed to the Bay Area to have dinner with my Grandparents and family and as always Tyler loved visiting Nona and Nono's house and exploring the backyard! After dinner we headed over to visit Addam's Mom's side of the family and see everyone. It was a great time and so special to be with family! To say the least, Tyler fell asleep on the way home after a fun filled day!

Cookie's for Santa

MMMMM... Sprinkles!

Mommy's cookie helper!
Licking the spoon when we were all done!

Talk about last minute! With all the holiday buzz, I almost forgot we had to make cookie's for Santa! So Grammy came over and we went to town! We made TONS of cookies not only for Santa, but for Unkie Steve & his crew and for Daddy & his crew since they had to work Christmas Eve and wouldn't be home until Christmas Day. Tyler loved it! He sampled the cookie dough and loved eating sprinkles! Thanks for all the help Grammy! Merry Christmas!

Tie Dye!!!

Abby, Tyler & Emily

Abby, Jenn, & Lisa

So for out play group one Friday, Lisa had the awesome idea of letting the kids make tie dye shirts. So since she is the resident know all of Tie Dye as is Miss Emily, her daughter. We let them take full control of this and teach us their ways! It was a HUGE messy FUN time!! The kids lasted about 5 minutes, and then ended up just chasing eachother around our garage and we finished up the shirts. They turned out so cute and we plan on having the kids all where them at some point and getting a picture. Awesome idea Lisa & Emily!

Station 50 Santa Parade

The lights & Santa!

Florin Fire Engine

My brother Steve invited us to come with him and his station crews from Station 50 with Metro Fire to go and do the Santa Parade that they do yearly in the surrounding neighborhood by their station. They bring out an old antique fire engine and Santa sit's on top and greets all the neighbors and you had out candy cane's to the people watching. We thought for sure no one would be out there, and we were amazed!! TONS of people came out and were waiting and watching the parade. We followed behind the engine with candy cane's in hand. Tyler loved it and kept saying, "Ho!", every time we saw Santa. Santa was nonother than Steve! He dressed up as the jolly man and did a great job! After our walk in the cold we all headed out to pizza and to hang out! So much fun!

Cookie Fun!

Eating up his gingerbread man!

CHEESE!

Time to play!

So The Little Gym, where Tyler does gymnastics once a week had a special day where they could come and decorate gingerbread men and then do gymnastics afterward. GREAT! That meant one more Little Gym session that week and Tyler loves it, plus our playgroup got together there that Friday and the kids had a blast! My Mom, Aunt, and Grandma came to watch Tyler decorate and do gymnastics. Tyler had fun decorating and eating his entire gingerbread man, and then we did over 1 hr of gymnastics. To say the least he fell asleep pretty quick! It was a great time!

Brooke's Bachelorette Party

One of my best friend's Brooke is getting married January 3, 2009 so we of course had an awesome Bachelorette Party planned in San Fransico! We stayed in the Westin on Market St. and had an amazing view of the city and we could even see the Christmas Tree in Union Square. We shopped, shopped, ate and partied! It was a great time with just the girls! We endured the rain and still had a blast! Congrats to Brookie!!

Sailing

Playing with the headset.

Big yawn!

So one morning we got a phone call from Addam's captain at work, Scotty, and he invited us to come to the Bay Area and go sailing on his boat. I unfortunately had to work, but Tyler and Addam headed out to Vallejo for a day of fun! What an awesome father/son day huh? Scotty has a 44 ft sailboat and the water was calm and it was sunny on the Bay. The guys had a great time and Tyler even fell asleep on the boat! He loved steering the boat of course. After the sailing trip they headed to Addam's parents house for dinner and visiting. Such a fun day!

Folsom Tree Lighting

Snow flake's!

Mommy & Tyler

So for the first time ever since we've lived in Folsom we went to the Tree Lighting they have in Old Town. Addam unfortunately had to work, which stunk, but Grammy came with us and we had fun! We got there early and glad we did, there was hardly any parking left! We had dinner at our favorite Mexican place, Hacienda Del Rio, then headed out for fun! There were soooo many people and it was so cold, but we had fun watching the hay ride go down Sutter St. & getting ice cream at Snook's and of course Tyler got a chocolate Santa for being so good with the big crowd and everything! Tyler's favorite part was the snow machine that was blowing bubbles that looked like snow flake's, he could have stayed there all night! It was a great time and we'll definitly go again next year!

Christmas Tree Hunt

Addam & Tyler

Playing with the farm cats

Since we moved to Folsom, Addam has been wanting to cut down a tree every year. We attempted it our first year living here and it was a total disaster. Between rain and tons of mud we came home empty handed and hit the tree lot down the road. So this year, with a little pushing from Addam, we went up to Apple Hill which is always fun for us and went on a Christmas Tree hunt. It was sunny, so I was happy no mud would eat my feet! We went to Rappeti Farms, and the wife of the owner was the woman who hired me for my first nursing job at UC Davis! They had a beautiful lot of land and tons of tree's to choose from. We of course thought we chose a somewhat small tree until we got home and it was HUGE! Tyler had a blast chasing the farm cats and watching Daddy and Mr. Rappeti cut down the tree. It was a great adventure and we can't wait to do it again next year!

Daddy the Lumberjack!
