Happy Halloween! Happy 1st Halloween to Trevor! Addam took great pride in decorating our house this year, pumpkins, cobwebs, fake spiders and even a fog machine with spooky music! What an amazing job! We headed out when it got dark as a family, but that didn't last long because Trevor was ready for bed! Tyler and Addam had a great time and enjoyed getting all sorts of candy! Then we all snuggled on the couch and read books! What a great night!

Halloween Pumpkins!
The Scary Scarecrow
Pirate Pumpkin for Station 53
Pirate Pumpkin for Station 53
Addam looks forward to Halloween each year and mostly enjoys picking out which stencil he's going to use to make a carving. He always pick one that I think will take him all day, and he always surprises me! This year he did all 3 pumpkins while the kid's were napping! We get sooo many compliments each year. Who know's what he'll do next year! Thanks Husband!

My Mom and Tyler
Trevor all dressed up!
Trevor all dressed up!
The City of Folsom was putting on an evening event the night before Halloween called, "Night of 1000 pumpkins". Addam unfortunately had to work, but my Mom was able to meet up with us and come for the fun! Tyler kept trying to blow out the candles in the pumpkins, but they were the flameless candles and he soon caught on! :) We walked through Old Town Folsom and just had an amazing time together! After we went and grabbed a frozen yogurt with Ammy! Thanks for coming Mom!

Apple Hill... again!
This time we went to Apple Hill as an outing with my MOPS (Mother's Of Preschoolers) group. What an amazing morning. The air was crisp, but such a beautiful sunny day! Addam was off and was able to join us and I had a chance to chat with the other Mommies while Tyler and Addam explored. Then we all explored High Hill Ranch and had lots of fun, and of course we had to have some goodies while we were there!

Steve's Birthday
Happy Birthday to my little brother Steve!! We had a great evening all together. I made his favorite cake, white cake with funfetti frosting. He of course had just started an intense diet and new workout plan, so we decided he could cheat and have some! We went out to dinner, came back to our house and had cake and ice cream. Steve let Tyler blow out his birthday candles adn Tyler was soooo excited about that. He talked about it for a week straight it seemed like! Happy Birthday Steve!!

We were invited to attend a Trunk or Treat hosted by Bayside Church in Granite Bay. We had a blast!!!! The kid's, well Tyler anyways, had a great time! Bounce houses, candy, what else do you need?! We donated food as part of our appreciation for a safe halloween for our kid's. I love doing these kind of family outings and it's great to share with wonderful friends too!

Wagon fun!
Tyler saying, "Hi guy!"
We didn't have time to make it out to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm as a family this year, so we went to a local pumpkin farm in Citrus Heights to look for some good pumpkins to carve. This one wasn't as exciting or as large as Bishop's, but Tyler surely loved it anyway! We rode a train, picked pumpkins out, Tyler rode the wagon, pet the animals in the petting zoo and all around enjoyed being together as a family!

Bishop's Pumpkin Farm with Buddies

Hi Mommy!
Hi Mommy!
Emily, Abby & Tyler
So our play group decided we would be brave and head to the Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland. It's an amazing and HUGE pumpkin farm and we loved going last year. It was also great because our friend Lisa and her daughter Emily live about 15 minutes away, so it made a short drive for them. The kid's had a great time running around and playing. And I survived my first "real"outing with two kid's. Thanks Jenn and Lisa for a great time! Cori and Clare we missed you guys!
