Official Ultrasound Date

Well, our official ultrasound date to find out if we are having a boy or a girl is Friday March 27th at 3p.m. So send in your guesses and we'll keep you updated! Can't wait!

Valentine's Day

Addam and I decided to have a date night the day BEFORE Valentine's Day to avoid all the crowds and stuff. So my Mom came over and had a Grammy and Tyler night and of course Tyler loved it! He yells, "Ammy!" the minute she walks in and is always so good for her and they have a blast having adventures together. Our date night started out at Bistro 33 in El Dorado Hills, the food was soooooo good! Plus we got to eat slow and didn't have to rush and we could actually talk and just hang out as husband and wife. We loved it! Then we decided to make the drive to Citrus Heights and go to Leatherby's, a local ice cream parlor who makes all their own ice creams and toppings. I was craving it! It was the best ice cream sundae ever! :) I say that every time though. Then we headed home and Tyler had already gone to bed for Grammy and we just stayed up and watched a little TV. Happy Valentine's Day Husband!! I love you very much!! xoxox

So I have a play group that I meet up with on Fridays and we let the kid's play and we get some Mommy time, well, in between watching our kids since we all seem to be in the stage of no sharing! :) We decided to meet mid-week and hit up the Train Museum in Old Sacramento. It was great! Tyler had a blast with his girlfriends Clare and Emily. After the fun inside the museum we headed out and had a nice picinic lunch on the grass. The kid's had the most fun and were running after eachother on the grass. What a fun day!

Drive time!

We decided to get out of Folsom for the afternoon and hit the Discovery Museum of Sacramento for the afternoon after nap time. I used to go to this very museum when I was a kid with my family and let me tell you the place is exactly the same! Tyler had fun driving a truck that had headlights that turned on and off, and playing in the kitchen and naming the foods for us. Then we hit the outdoors and just followed the trail that goes around the museum. And to top it off, it's near Grammy and Pa's house! So after the museum we headed over to their house for a nice family dinner and of course a bath in Grammy's sink!

Snow Day

We decided since it was Tyler's 2nd winter that we would head up to the snow for the day since we are so close. One of my favorite resorts to go to just because it's where I used to go as a kid and always had fun is Soda Springs. It's totally small and not usually crowded just because it is so small. We decided to go there and check out the kid's snow park and do some tubing as well. So Addam, myself, Tyler and my brother Steve all piled into the Tahoe and we headed out for a day of fun. Tyler slept on the way to the snow, and woke up just as we got there and kept saying, "SNOW!!!". Well, he liked it until he got out into it. He must have cried the entire time we were there and kept saying, "Car, Car, Car!!". We did attempt the kid's snow park with him which did not seem to go over very well with him. So I told Addam and Steve to go tubing and I would give Tyler a snack in the car. Tyler was so happy to be in the truck and didn't want to leave!! We headed back up to the tubing area and I had to hold him the whole time because he didn't want to be in the snow. We watch Addam and Steve pull all of the kid's who were on a trip with their school up to the lift for tubing, what nice guys! They were sweating like crazy pulling 2 kids who were like 9-10 years old up the hill! Then I got a chance to do a little tubing and was racing my brother down the tubing area. You sure do pick up speed! Tyler was relieved when it started to get dark and we said we were leaving. There's always hope for next year!

Guns & Hoses

Since we couldn't make Guns & Hoses last year, this year we decided to give it a go even though it was freezing COLD outside and windy. It's the local area fireman vs. the local police agencies in the Sacramento Valley. They play a football game and it takes you back in time to high school. Each team even has it's own cheer squad! Crazy! We had a blast and it was great to attempt to watch the game and hang out with people from the department outside of work. Addam, Tyler, my brother Steve and I braved the cold. Tyler had fun playing with our good friends' kiddo's Rylee and Brody. Unfortunately our team lost, but there is always next year!

Tyler has a little buddy at his gymnastics class named Jack and they have a great time playing together when they are there, so we Mom's decided let's have them play outside of gym class. They have a blast!! We try to get together once a week outside of gym class and just let them be boys and run wild. It's great fun for them, and I love having another Mommy to talk to who has a little boy who I can say, "Does he do this too?". Love the playdates Jack and Julie!

8 weeks and counting!

On January 1st I headed to So Cal to begin all the fun festivities of weddings! Brooke and Scott were married on January 3rd, 2009 in Manhattan Beach in a very beautiful wedding and gorgeous reception! I was honored to be a bridesmaid and to be there watching her say, "I Do!" to her Prince Charming. I even survived high heels! She was an absolutely gorgeous bride and I wish them nothing but the best! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Barton! Have a fun honeymoon!!

And Baby makes 4!

Baby #2 due August 18, 2009

Yep, if the heading didn't give it away, then.... We are expecting another BABY!! I found out I was pregnant the day before my birthday (12/11), and kept it a secret from family until we had Christmas with each side of the family. We thought that it would be a special way to tell everyone that another little baby will be joining our household soon! I'm due August 18, 2009. I get to tough out the wonderful HOT summer's of Folsom pregnant! But other than that we couldn't be happier to welcome another addition to our family!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Addam came home this morning from work and we had such a wonderful morning as a family. We opened presents and played and just enjoyed eachother. It's amazing to watch Tyler this year with gifts. He opens one and we do the rest! He received many gifts from family and friends and we couldn't be more grateful! We headed to the Bay Area to have dinner with my Grandparents and family and as always Tyler loved visiting Nona and Nono's house and exploring the backyard! After dinner we headed over to visit Addam's Mom's side of the family and see everyone. It was a great time and so special to be with family! To say the least, Tyler fell asleep on the way home after a fun filled day!
